In this talk, Vance Crowe, Monsanto’s Director of Millennial Engagement will articulate how complex the world becomes when you begin to adventure into places you don’t yet understand. As a former deckhand on an ecotourism ship, a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer living in rural Kenya, a staffer at the World Bank Group and now at the largest agriculture biotech company in the world, Vance has insight about going into the ever-changing chaotic world in search of meaningful work that will make the world a better place. The discussion will center on harnessing your curiosity and a willingness to be a novice so that you can discover, learn and build solutions to challenges that are worthy of your attention.
Vance will explore several areas of modern society including agriculture and the food systems.
This event is free and hosted by the Collegiate Farm Bureau at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. RSVP on Facebook here.
