Collegiate Farm Bureau at UW-Madison launched a brand new event this year to celebrate the end of harvest. Harvest Handout provided a number of locally-grown foods to students on the UW-Madison campus. CFB members spent their Friday morning on November 17 handing out these treats to hundreds of students.
The handouts included beef jerky from the Wisconsin Beef Council, apples from Ski-Hi Fruit Farm, potato chips from the Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association, and dried cranberries from the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association.
