“My passion for agriculture, specifically dairy, started at a young age as I was raised on my family’s 200 cow dairy farm and learned to interact with cattle while also helping with chores around the farm. Working on the farm with my father and grandfather regularly lead me to seriously consider a career in agriculture and dairy farming. Exhibiting heifers and cows through the Green Valley 4-H club also increased my appreciation for working closely with animals. Ultimately, I decided a pursue a career related to agriculture as I continually find that caring for animals and producing a quality product to help feed the world’s growing population is an extremely rewarding and gratifying experience.”
