UW-Madison CFB Recognizes Outstanding Members

For the first time, Collegiate Farm Bureau at UW-Madison recognized four students as Outstanding Members at the banquet on May 2nd at the University Club. Outstanding Members were recognized for their contributions to CFB and extra level of participation in teaching others about agriculture. Outstanding Members applied and were chosen by the 2016-17 officer team.

Eric Habermann was recognized for his involvement with the GMO panel, answering questions about GMO’s at Ag Day on Campus, traveling to YFA and the Spring trip and spending countless shifts at the World Dairy Expo Cheese Stand in the Fall. Mariah Martin was chosen for her work with Ag Day on Campus publicity, attending YFA and the Spring trip and dedicating time to the World Dairy Expo Cheese Stand.

Jessica Wendt was acknowledged for her work with the Ag Day on Campus activities committee and involvement with many other CFB activities. Lastly, Emily Matzke was recognized for her dedicated work getting speakers for the GMO panel and always securing milk donations from Sassy Cow Creamery.
